Albuquerque has been named No. 3 on a list of the top 10 U.S. cities for livability – when golf is a core component of your life.
“Local courses can compete with well-known courses like Pebble Beach and Augusta,” says John Hood, Chief Livability Officer for Livability.com, the magazine that conducted the survey.
“We looked at criteria ranging from quality of life and cost of living to the number of public and private courses. Not only are these great golf cities, these are some of the best places to live in America,” he said.
Here are the cities and their rankings:
- Eugene, Ore.
- Fishers, Ind.
- Albuquerque
- Castle Rock, Col.
- Nashville, Tenn.
- Woodland, Wash.
- Prattville, Ala.
- Stillwater, Okla.
- Asheville, N.C.
- Tyler, Texas.
