Sandia Ranked No. 27 on GolfWeek’s Best Casino Courses List
Sandia Golf Club in Albuquerque comes in at No. 27 on GolfWeek’s latest “Best Casino Courses” list, which can be found in the December 10-17 issue of the magazine.
The Inn of the Mountain Gods course in Ruidoso is No. 47 on the list.
Sandia also appears at No. 5 on the magazine’s 2010 list of “Best Courses you Can Play” in New Mexico. Oddly, Twin Warriors Golf Club, which is the No. 3 “Best You Can Play” course in the state, according to GolfWeek’s 2010 list of the best golf in New Mexico, failed to make the magazine’s “Best Casino Courses” list.
Shadow Creek Golf Course, Las Vegas, Nev., Fallen Oak Golf Course in Saucier, Miss., and We-Ko-Pa Golf Club’s Saguaro course in Fountain Hills, Ariz., take the top three spots in the 2010 “Best Casino Courses” ranking.
Further down on the list are Barona Creek Golf Club, Lakeside, Calif., French Lick Resort’s Pete Dye Course in French Lick, Ind., and Cascata in Henderson, Nev.
