Scottsdale Player Wins N.M. Open

Travis Reid of Las Cruces and 2008 champion Brian Kortan were the highest Sun Country finishers in the New Mexico Open, finishing in a tie for 5th, seven strokes behind Ben Kern of Scottsdale, Ariz., the winner at 16-under in the three-day event at the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalaero. Former Lobo Madalitso Muthiya finished in a tie for 8th.
