The Outlaw Club Closes
The Outlaw Club in Lincoln Hills, a private course built as the centerpiece of a high-end estate developmentĀ in Alto, N.M., has closed.
The golf course opened to positive reviews last season and was scheduled to co-host the first two days of the New Mexico Open in September. The Sun Country Section of the PGA, organizer of the event, will adjust to host all competitors on the Inn of the Mountain Gods Course, said Executive Director John Speary.
A pro shop employee confirmed the course was closed but referred an inquiry about future plans to General Manager Jim Lorah, who was out of the office.
The Outlaw offered reciprocal play to members of private clubs who made prior arrangements.
