UNM Close to Action on Master Plan Affecting North Course

The University of New Mexico Board of Regents is close to acting on a master plan that preserves the UNM North Golf Course for the time being.
Public comments on the plan, published on Aug. 11 in draft form, will be accepted through Sept. 9. The regents are expected to act on Sept. 29 on a plan developed by the architecture firm Dekker Perrich Sabatini to preserve the golf course as “reserve lands” and to improve the walking-running track around the course’s perimeter.
The master plan, when approved, will guide the University of New Mexico’s development strategy for the next 10 years.




The Master Plan was removed from the Board of Regents 9/29 meeting, to allow for comments and input before it is put up for a vote by the Regents. The public comment period has been extended, so PLEASE feel free to post your comments on UNM’s Master Plan Update website:
